I should start with a correction to Week 8's progress, Adam refinishing Ellison's floor... it was kind of a big deal and I feel guilty when I originally thought back to what we did that week I forgot it.
Monday- I spent a couple of hours painting the insides of Averie's closets. That's right 2 hours in closets... in 3 closets and I even skipped one.
Tuesday- My dad brought our fridge and some other Christmas gifts we couldn't fit in the van. He stayed a couple of days to work on the place too, yeah! Adam sprayed the second and final coat of paint on the kitchen cabinets doors. He also, hung light fixtures in the living room, back bonus room, front bonus room, the room we don't know what to call. He was surprised to open the box of the ceiling fan for the master to find that someone had replaced the fan in the box with a different one and returned it... awesome huh? I hope WE don't have any trouble returning it.
Wednesday- Adam left for a work trip to PA. I'm thankful my dad was here, not only for all his hard work but also the adult company. He slaved away all day, he laid the tile in the entry way, started sanding the hardwood floor in the front bonus room and picked Averie up for school.
Thursday- After I picked up Taylor after school we ate dinner at the new place and I got a couple of hours of cleaning done. I was also able to check out Rod's progress. I love the tile and the hardwood is ready to go. My very favorite painter stopped by and took care of the darn last coat of paint on the wainscoting.
Friday- Adams back. I assumed his absence was troubling him so I got a sitter to stay with the girls once they got to bed. Then Adam and I could spend sometime working on the place together. We only worked a few hours but, Adam hung closet organizers and I again painting the inside of a closet... Thats right ANOTHER closet, and I still have more to do.
Saturday- I went over to the house early to give Adam a chance to sleep in. I prepared for the a round of touch up paint on the cabinets. Prep-work included a run to Sherwin Williams for some enamel. Can you guess where story is going? You're right, they were out and expected to get more the next Wednesday. My plans went right out the window, until Adam said that he had to go to Ames for a few things and lucky for us the Ames' store had what we needed. 2 hours later I was happy as could be painting again...
Sunday- was a short work day I had my first coed volleyball game for the year. Before the game I did a handful of little things and Adam stained the front bonus room. Just before we called it a day, we had some welcome guests. It was nice show friends what we've consumed ourselves in. Sunday night called for pizza, a second coat of paint on the dining room ceiling beams (thanks to painter friend), and K and I dived into planning the layout for the master closet. It was nice having someone to bounce ideas off of and a second set of hand to hold the level :)

I'm sure you meant to say, it was nice to bounce ideas off of someone and then have Bryan come rock our world with a different suggestion. :) At least you've worked through a couple senarios so you know you're getting exactly what you want!
