Getting Older

Another Birthday has past, I'm now 27. I always thought is was funny that women got worked up about the celebration of their births. I am know that very women I thought was just being dramatic. I am happy with life and wish I didn't have such a negative response to numbers... cause that is all they are NUMBERS!! This will be the last birthday that I let the numbers drag me down. I did have a great celebration with friends, and maybe one of the best presents ever from Adam. I had nothing to be sad about well... maybe this shot- yukk!
I've come along way in my 27 years. Life just keeps getting better and better- bring on the numbers!!

Fun Filled Weekend

We had a picture perfect weekend! Saturday was spent at Adventureland with a group of great friends!! This was our familys' first trip to an amusement park. Ride after ride Taylor and Averie amazed me. Adam, Averie, and I were on a ride I'm laughing/crying because I'm so freaked out and there Averie is next to me saying "weee" "weee" after every turn. What little dare devils I have. But, Taylor did say that she will never ride a roller coaster again... Adam asked her how she was doing half way through and she said "I might get sick" This is the first of our annual trips to Adventureland and I can't wait to go again!!

Sunday, Adam continued to work on the kitchen. I played with the girls outside and did yard work. I love lazy days :)

Ellison had her 4 months check up today. She growing at a steady rate and is perfect in every way (obviously). We were given the ok to start rice cereal and I just can't believe it, she can't be that big of a girl already!! haha I know, I know, they can't stay babies forever. To spin this in a happier direction I get to buy a new high chair- that's right just dangle something new and pretty in front of my face and I'm distracted :)

Another Day another Dollar

With this work week coming to an end, I feel very relieved for the weekend. For the past 6 years the only reason I would look forward to the weekend was to spend quality time with Adam in combination with dreading the fact that I was going to have to work. Now that I'm working "regular" hours life is happening at a much different pace. My spare time during the day is no longer spent running errands, cleaning house, and working out. Those things now have to take place during the time that Adam is home and I just don't like it! About the time I start to feel sorry for myself I realize that this is how ALL of working America operates and that I'm just a little late to the game.

I've decided that maybe summer wasn't the best time to start to blog!!

Taylor is home for the summer and I couldn't be happier. It makes me so sad to see all the fb and twitter updates about people being sick of there kids being home for the summer. I love my children and want to spend as much time with them as I can- I just don't understand why you wouldn't like to be with your children.... they are yours!! Now I'm not so self righteous that I won't say that a break every so often is nice cause it is but... really I feel like some people can't stand a few full days with there kids. If you can't devote your life and time to your children, DON'T have them. They deserves all the time and love a parent can give!!

I have a feeling this blog may just be a bunch of my b#ing... this seems like an ok outlet for now and hopefully I'll evolve.
